Great willperrett 2021-10-19 14:29

Hello Mark

I'm surprised no-one else so far has seen fit to comment on this rather superior image: perhaps because it's not the run-of-the-mill fare usually served up on this site these days. I love b/w photography, even in this digital age, and this example exploits the strengths of the medium very well. I'd have expected you to say you used a red filter; but the effect is superb: for me it almost feels as if it's under water...

Regards

Will

Hello Will,

Thank you for your kind critique. I'd run through most of the filters and the red was my second choice. Actually, I should say third as I almost chose neutral density as I wanted to give it a sepia tone, but the result didn't look right. So, yellow it was.

Regards,
Mark
