Great emka 2021-04-07 5:13

Hi Gert,
You made quite a long walk from your place. Nice houses in beautiful colours, like in your previous picture, my favourite is this wooden brown small building. I wonder how old it is. We also had very warm days, like in summer, and we began to dine in the garden. But now it is cold again. Nice scene with the people enjoying the sun and preserving social distance, although without masks. But it would be for me very uncomfortable to sit like this. Probably I am too old. Very nice composition and beautiful light.
Have a nice afternoon.

Default To emka: brown building?

Thank you Malgo,
But there are no brown buildings here. You are probably referring to the typical Swedish red buildings at the far end. That paint is made of residual products from the copper mine in Falun in central Sweden and you can see it everywhere on wooden houses and fences. It's probably the most iconic feature of Swedish culture.
A quick look at the internet told me that all the buildings seen here are from the second half of the 18th century.
Best regards,
Gert
