Great PaulVDV 2017-02-19 9:18

Hello Gert,
Everything fine in Sweden after the events which scared Trump? :)
I had to look carefully here to disover the people you included on the picture but I found them.
I also found the fort but just because you note mentioned it. Still, it looks a mighty defensive construction.
When I traveled to Ladakh, it was advised not to go by Srinagar. Some people who traveled via Srinagar reported shootings. So I went back to Delhi the same way as I came (via Manali).
I would definitely love to have seen this scenery.
Not only the houseboats seem attractive but also the buildings on land with their wooden balconies.
You found a good point of view for this very comprehensive image.
Great composition.
PS: Some houseboats are very big. Like the New Zenith.
Best regards, Paul

Default To PaulVDV: trump

Hello Paul,
Thanks for your comments.
The Swedish embassy in Washington has asked the White House to clarify what happened in Sweden last Friday, because everyone here is unaware of any terror attack or whatever the so called president referred to.
What scares me is that the greatest military power in the world is run by a lunatic who has no sense of realities, who says whatever comes into his mind and dismisses serious media doing their job professionally as "failing" and "fake", while basing his own ideas on rumors and lies spread by Fascist hate-sites.
Lock him up!
Cheers,
Gert

Hi Gert,

Too bad the Devil's Island in Guyana has been closed down.

Best wishes,
Paul

Unfortunately Alcatraz has been closed as well. But Guantánamo Bay is still an option.

The stuff he comes out with would be laughable if he wasn't in a position of such power. I had hoped that his minders would be able to rein him in after he took office, but clearly not.
To me it seems that he thinks he can act exactly the same as he ran his businesses. The only person who could be right was him - even when he was totally wrong.

The US hasn't possibly ever had a more grotesquely incompetent leader. I can't wait for his impeachment, but it had better happen fast before he creates a disaster.
Richard Nixon, we forgive you everything.
