Great femkevdh 2004-06-23 3:59

even the dollar didn't help? What a heartbreaking cuty!
I think I would have liked a tighter crop even better. The face of the child is pretty, but maybe it was too unsharp. I like those leaves in the background too! Nice photo!

Default To cgrindahl: Thanks

Hi Curtis
Many thanks for the workshop and your useful comments on composition and post processing.
I agree that cropping some of the sky makes for a more dramatic shot. It moves the horizon up the frame which I had quite central.
Thanks for taking the time.
Graham

What little I know I learned from generous folks who have been here much longer than I have. I share it with you in the same spirit. We learn, we experiment, we share what we learn, all of which makes this a wonderful place to develop our skills as photographers. I do workshops as much to practice my own eye and my own computer skills as for the benefit you might derive. I'm glad to hear that it was of some use to you. Have a wonderful day! I'm going to bed... ;-)
