I really liked this picture, great first submission. You are correct about the constrast; the blue from the sky, the green from the field and trees, and the fantastic yellow stripe right down the middle are very interesting.
It looks a little overexposed to me; like there is a haze throughout the picture. I posted a workshop to demonstrate what I meant.
