Great snunney 2019-03-19 3:15

Hello Jorge,
Your image gives us only a flavour for the architecture of this rather unusual church; I assume closeness of the the neighbouring trees prevents you from offering a broader view. I assume also that the original wooden chapel has now disappeared. Good technical realisation.

Default To snunney: old chapels

stephen

yes, the old chapel was demolished few days after that visit. the church where I was baptized was located few meters far from the new one and when the new one got a roof it was demolished too. it is a pity, but most of these pioneer structures were gone, some towns got to preserve one or other sample, but they are becoming much rare.

take care

jorge
