so rich in detail and sharpness
how do you digitize your work? mine has far too much grain.

Default To Ryerson: Scanning.

Man, I'm sorry...I didn't see your comment. I didn't mean to take so much time geting back. To be honest, I don't do much. I just scan the photo, resize, then sharpen if needed. I leave grain as it is. With this photo, shot on Tri-x, I guess the night tonality allowed for tighter grain. That's the amazing thing about Tri-x, a wide range of grain possibilities.
Also, I'm scanning prints...when scanning negatives people tend to get more grain. Are you scanning negs?
