Hello Ian
This cool image looks as if it were taken in Perisher Valley. Could that be right? I'm with you on the colours and twisted trunks of these remarkable trees. For the record, here's my version of the same theme, probably taken not a million miles from yours. Typical: the HTML link didn't work. This site is getting worse by the day...
Regards
Will

Hi Will
The photo was taken above Thredbo. The main chairlift was closed for maintenance so we went up the appropriately named Snow Gum chair lift a little to the north of the main one. I found the one that I guess you were trying to link to - a good one at Charlotte Pass where there are lots of great snow gums. By the way I noticed that it was just listed as NSW without the final Kosciuszko national park location. cheers Ian |
