Great kasianowak 2019-07-14 6:25

These two images remind me of the photo I fell in love with, some 15 years ago, showing frozen Malaren lake with Riddarholmen in the background. It's rare enough weather conditions to miss if you book flights in advance... Does it at least happen once a year?

Default To kasianowak: not every year

Thank you again Kasia,
This used to be a regular sight, but I can't remember seeing this area so frozen for the last two or three winters at least. Just like we didn't have to pay anyone for clearing our roofs from snow for several years. Global heating, I guess...
I wouldn't take a chance on a plane ticket hoping for this kind of weather.
Bes wishes,
Gert
