Great Royaldevon 2021-05-09 11:04

Hello Jorge,

This is a fine patchwork of colours, edged by tree boundaries, creating a lovely sense of of depth.

I wonder how much research has been done about the pesticides? Many have been banned in the U.K. and other countries. It was found that the pesticides killed the pests but also the hard working insects which pollinated the plants and which also provided food for hungry birds. It was a terrible break in the fragile circle of life.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: pesticides

BEV

yes, pesticides can be terrible, but we have food in the tables because them.
I guess some farmers use them in excess, at same time the bugs and the vegetal plagues are becoming more resistant to the products. here in my region I know many plants that aren't killed by the herbicides as in the past. it is a matter of concern, for sure.

take care

jorge
