Hallo Paul

I would recommend getting a taxi from Pokhara up to Sarankot and paying them for wait time rather than walking back downhill and jumping from one rice terrace to another 100's of times.

From Kathmandu, Nagakot is worth a visit if the weather is clear enabling spectacular views of the snow-capped Himalayas. Patan, Baktapur and Pashuputinath are also worth a day or 2 each. Watch out for the marsh muggers (crocodiles) in the Raptis River in Chitwan National Park. There was a 6 pm curfew as tigers roam around at night. Janakpur is also worth a flight and visit. Bijalpura village is reached by a short train ride. The Sita temple and the Bijalpura painted murals on the huts were worth seeing. Enjoy!
