i cann understand you thing it's good to cann take photos; but in fact what we cann do is for me bad if we look at the postcards from the museum! we never have the right light, the time, the tripod etc...

To CMJC: photography in museums
Hello Christine,
you are right, we cannot achieve proper reproductions of a painting or other artwork, and that is not what I want. I want to catch the atmosphere, the people who visit the museum and enjoy it (or are disgusted), the room itself and how the exposition is presented. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I fail, but I am happy when allowed to take photos. Besides this, most postcards in this special case, the temporary exhibition "Dutch and Spanish Masters" were very bad in my opinion. Kind regards, Elvira
