Hello Elvira,
Already in 1967 Lovely Rita meter maid got world famous, so there wouldn't have been any reason to be surprised. On the other hand I was astonished to see policewomen in Budapest in 1969. Seeing now photos from several decades ago I mainly wonder why the funny little cars didn't look so funny then.
A nice glimpse from the past, well timed. Did she fine you?

Hello Gert,
She could not bother me, ha ha, I was pedestrian. I knew "lovely Rita", but had no idea who she was. My English then was hardly good enough to understand "Yeah, yeah yeah".  Kind regards, Elvira
