Great holmertz 2021-06-22 0:51

Hello Paul,
It doesn't happen very often that I find you as my neighbour on the site. It's nice to see you digging into your archives. Maybe you should do that more often. The main photo shows a pleasant natural scenery made into an elegant photo by the gentle curves of the channel and the path. The note describes pleasant hikes, sometimes maybe physically demanding, and sometimes complicated by the tunnels. I guess the water isn't very deep, in case you should slip into it, but I'm sure it's annoyingly wet.
Best regards,

Default To holmertz: Shallow levadas

Thank you Gert,

It's really not my intention to dig often into my archives.
Sometimes it happens that I respond to a photo that someone else has shown.
Furthermore, I still wish to show a lot of pictures from my last journey but after more than a year a certain 'tiredness' sets in on the subject and I actually dream of something else ...

The levadas are nowhere deep but the water is quite cold.
Just be careful in the tunnels that you don't fall and certainly not with your head on the edge of the levada.

Best regards,
