Great janneman 2014-08-31 6:52

Beautiful panoramic view Fredrik!
Love the colours and the perspective element with the black road just outside the middle.
The colour of the vegitation is in a nice contrast to the blue sky.

You visited Leshoto in about the same time of the year as I did. Guess it was very cold there?

Regards, Jan

Talking To janneman: Cold indeed

I stayed there for 3 nights. 2 nights at Malealea Lodge and one night at the Sani Mountain Lodge. I think those nights were among the coldest this winter. The day temperature was 5-15 degrees and it actually felt quite comfortable in the sun. I remember I started out with a jacket, hat and gloves every day and ended up in a t-shirt. But the nights were cold and at Malealea it could be down to -5 and around -2 in the morning. Sani Mountain Lodge was a different story. When I arrived at 8 in the evening, the rental car said -9 degrees so I'm pretty sure it was close to -15 in the night.
