Great Royaldevon 2021-04-26 2:21

Hello Chris,

I have never heard that description before, 'breadknife rock formations', but it fits perfectly, giving a fine sense of depth.
The green water is a completely different tone to the greens on the hillside, shrouding the pinnacles of rock.
A fine composition, with the slope almost on a diagonal.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: Breadknife

Hello Bev

There is a rock formation in the Warrambungles National Park in New South Wales known as 'The Breadknife'

It's several hundred km drive from south east Qld so I have never been there. One day perhaps. Ian might beat me to it.

Hello Bev

Oh & we have a similar geological formation known as 'Crookneck' or in Aboriginal / indigenous Australian ' Coonoowrin'. It's only 40 km north of Brisbane but some serious rock climbing is required for the best views. Not my cup of tea.

Both the Breadknife and Crookneck are eroded volcanic plugs of extinct volcanoes.
