Hello Jean,
It doesn't look like a day that would have drawn me to a beach, but unless rain was to be expected it may have been a great day for a walk in such a scenic area. You found a very good angle for this photo. The cove and beach and the surrounding low hills are very nicely placed on a diagonal, with a good view towards the open sea near the corner. The WS has the young couple as a strong bonus to a basically similar view.
Best regards,
Gert

there are other monastery in the city and all of them are surrounded by ramparts, even the masculine ones. it was a way to present invaders during the wars and, at same time, prevent the people outside had contact with the religious living inside. even if those women escaped from there they wouldn't have a way to survive in another place. take care jorge |
