Great macjake 2019-09-16 0:35

Hi Brenda
Sorry Brenda, I missed this one.
wonderful dedication. and i've heard (not sure if its true or not) that many of the insurance companies are NOT ensuring those who were afflicted on that day, people who are suffering from lung conditions etc...what have you heard. just curious. again, excellent photo here, and I really do like the backwards spelling. I still remember exactly where I was when I heard the news - driving in my car on my way to college (nursing school). Never forget that day. cheers
Craig

Default To macjake: Victims and insurance

Hello Craig,

For a while there was temporary government funding for those suffering from 9/11 related illnesses, but it was about to run out of money. First responders and other workers who are dying from cancer had to go to Washington D.C. and plead there cases. More people are getting sick, and they and their families were about to lose coverage for their illnesses. Finally, just a few months ago, Congress passed a new bill extending funding for current and future victims. It's really outrageous that they were ever in danger of losing medical assistance in the first place. That's just how dysfunctional things are over here...

Thanks for your critique and question.
Brenda
