Hi Gert

A striking contrast between the 2 cartoon like street art figures at left and the 2 young women at right busy on their cell phones. I wonder who was trying to buy Porto? Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Default To ChrisJ: possibly the tourists

Thanks Chris,
I don't know who had tried to buy Porto, but I had an idea that phrase was aimed at the ever increasing crowds of foreigners who buy flats, fill the restaurants and take over the streets. I don't know how much worse Lisbon is, but I recently read about how people are forced to leave their homes in the central old part of the city because the cost of living has risen beyond their means. House owners prefer to lease the flats to tourists, locals can't use the trams because they are always filled with tourists, restaurants have lost their ambience because the only guests are tourists, etc. I think it's the same situation in most interesting cities in central and southern Europe.
