Great Royaldevon 2020-08-05 3:38

Hello Paul,

Did you have a keep fit day and row yourself, or were you treated to an organised trip?

The saying 'Out of chaos comes order', came to mind when I saw your photograph. I remember that in previous photographs, the boats were higgledy-piggledly arranged over the lake, whilst here, we see them neatly moored.

They look like colourful stepping stones out into the lake!

You have created an amazing sense of depth, from the clarity and sharpness of the f/g, to the misty depths of the mountains.

Even in your first w/s, the boats seem more organised.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: Boat with rower

Thank you Beverley,

A first time I rented a boat with rower to take me across the lake where I climbed a path leading to the World Peace Pagoda.
Kasia once showed a photo of this pagoda. See https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/As...oto1532199.htm
On another day, I rented another boat with rower to cruise around the lake while I was taking pictures of other boats and the whole area.
I wouldn’t call these organised trips. The rower took me to the destination(s) I indicated.

But in both cases the easiest way. Just like with paragliding
However, I did climb the steep hill to the pagoda!

Best regards,
Paul
