Great holmertz 2021-07-21 9:29

Hello Robert,
You don't mention the circumstances of this photo but I am rather impressed that you managed to get so close to the nest. It's amazing to realize how completely the young birds will change their colours and appearance. You managed the borrowed camera well enough for a good exposure and sharpness.
Best regards,
Gert

Default To holmertz: Thanks

Hallo Gert
The borrowed camera was by then a Canon Powershot SX30 IS equipped of a massive35x (24-840mm) optical zoom lens.
But I triggered at only 152mm because we were standing on a boardwalk intended for photographers, leadind overwater near the nesting area which was probably not farther than 20m. Moreover, the nest was located on the near facing bushes.
Basta halsningar
