Sorake Beach is actually wonderful, but you can forget about the surfing. The island tilted with the Tsunami and you need to walk over a big slap of hardened coral that came above the water.

I am wondering who is behind the website if you're saying you worked there for a year. The only employer was the Dutch Red Cross and I also worked there for a year ;-).
