Default Visiting Utah nation parks

I'm planning to travel to the US in March, and visit some of the national parks, like Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands, Arches etc.

Any tips/advice? What is especially of note, what definitely not to miss etc? I've already looked through photos on here, and browsed other websites, but was looking for people's own experiences and info.

I'll be there from 1st march until 15th march.

Thanks folks.

Default Utah National Parks

Great choices; these are some of the most scenic wonderlands in the US. Most of the great views in the Arches are reachable via auto and very short walks. Our visit to Canyonlands NP was short and not too exciting, but I have learned since that if one allows more time and is able to do some hiking, the views are well worth it. Bryce is not a large park and mostly viewable by very short walks from the paved parking lots. Note - as interesting as those hoodoos are, they do not photograph well mid-day. Even more than most places I would recommend photography there be done early and late in the day. Zion is most spectacular if you are able to spend some time getting off the main routes. You are wise to visit before summer; it can really get hot - especially at Arches NP. You might even have some snow at higher elevations, which would be great for photography.

IF - time somehow allowed, and you've not been there before, I would certainly try to work in Monument Valley along the Utah - Arizona border.

Will be taking a similar trip in May. Also visiting the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I would like to know the distance between Arches and Bryce Canyon and which route to take.

Have you photographed any of the slot canyons--Antelope, or the Narrows at Zion? I have not and wondered what time of day is good for photography.
