Default Model Release Forms

Does anyone have a good sample model release form -- one that would and could be used if on the road travelling?

And maybe some tips about whether or not this is even necessary? I see so many shots of people without them, but then others that do...

Thanks!!

The law on such will vary from country to country. It also depends on your use of the photograph - commercial or non-commercial. Best to check the laws of the place you are visiting.

You should be able to find some on the NPPA website--- www.nppa.org--- just browse around. There always a good idea to have--- but your right, unless you're doing editorial work you usually don't really need them. It's down the line when you try to license the pictures as stock that you'll have a much easier time of picking up commercial (read: better paying) clients if your stock is model released.
