Hello Gert,
Three excellent scanned photographs which show the beauty of this pretty Cornish fishing village.
I particularly like this one, with the couple gazing out to sea they add a nostalgic mood and a sense of direction. This was a time when life was less phrenetic, when there was time to stand and gaze and enjoy the calm and serenity of the setting.
You have captured the calm of the place. The boats moored, the houses timeless and hardly a car in sight.
Did you manage to sample the famous Cornish pasties?
Thanks for sharing this,
Bev :-)

Thank you Bev for your kind words.
My diary mentions several Chinese dinners (and that I was sick and tired of them), and for lunch mainly sandwiches or fish & chips. But in one place I bought "some kind of pie". Maybe that was one of the famous Cornish pasties. ;-) Have a nice day. Gert |
