Hello Jorge, The prison is not big and not especially guarded, so there were not many villains in this city. The funny idea is to have the city council and prison in the same building. It is a charming picture. It looks like a place away from the tourists' routes.

yes, it is not so famous but the old city is so well preserved, restored and painted in new that I was so surprised with its humble beauty. it receives lots of tourists during the holy week when they turn down the lights of the city and there is a medieval staging showing the hunt of the romans soldiers trying to put Jesus in the jail, then thousand of people goes behind the soldiers and at each church there are hints of His presence and He is caught in the last church. this is a copy of a tradition of sevilla brought to goiás by a spanish priest many centuries ago. please, check the video bellow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPVizcVd8Ak take care Jorge
