Great jimmyjimmy 2021-05-02 17:30

Hello Mark

I have been to that crater a few times many years ago. Is the NASA Astronaut still at the bottom. A pretty steep entry fee if I remember. Still a remarkable view. Thanks for your continued tour of the great state of Arizona.

Jimmy

Default To jimmyjimmy: Empty and windy

Hello Jimmy,

Yes, the astronaut is still stuck on the fence at the bottom of the crater. I posted a close up of him taken with a zoom of 300mm as a workshop to my previous photo.

And the entry fee hasn't gone down in the slightest. I paid $20 to get in ... and the 4D interactive experience wasn't working!

I've a long weekend on the northern border planned for the middle of the month, hopefully getting an entirely different view of Horseshoe Bend as well as hiking some new (to me) locations.

Mark
