Hello Paul
The combination of slow shutter speed, and slight underexposure has created an atmospheric and unusual photograph, with the blocked up shadows making a strong statement. The warm tones too are effective, though I find the saturation a tad too intense. But an image that made me stop and look (TE is having that effect on me less and less frequently!)

Take a look at my message to Ray about the 49 people who live on Pitcairn Island. They have mail pickup four times a year, when a freighter comes from New Zealand. I mailed a few postcards to the grandchildren on January 16. They will be picked up and mailed in March. They must have communication with New Zealand, but there are no airstrips for airplanes to land. In case of serious illness, they must be transported to New Zealand. Education exists through the 8th grade, but for those who want "advanced education," they must travel to New Zealand. It's a fascinating extended family, 60s style commune, cult, kibbutz...
