Great coco 2006-12-31 5:15

Hi Adam.

Not easy but well captured. Of course, could be better, but the practise is best way for learn (practise and see others photos).
But really I have a adoubt. What is the vertical mark over the water?

Regards and happy new year.

Default To Polonaise: The framing...

Thanks for your critique, George...

I have to tell you that I'm using something I learned from you here: when you workshopped my "Praying Girl" photo, I saw that when it is not possible to get a crop with the right proportions (like 2:3), it's best to use a frame with "canonical" proportions, instead of just drawing a simple border around the image. I noticed you also do that sort of framing for some of your pictures.

With this particular photo, I had to "fight" with it to get a decent crop, my original didn't include everything that it should... I had to shoot fast and didn't have time to compose. So I ended up with this very vertical format and I think the frame helps to put the image "in its place". Thanks. Have a great 2007, by the way!
