Interesting to see an old Spanish fort in France. Is that a well in the middle? Good detailed photo in the large view.

Est-ce un puits, la réponse est oui, il servait à alimenter la forteresse qui vivait en autarcie !

Is it a well, the answer is yes, it was used to supply the fortress which lived in autarky!
