Great Royaldevon 2020-08-13 2:16

Hello James,

This immediately attracted my attention because of the tall, unusual chimney. My husband and I once decided to photograph chimneys, just to ascertain the size and variety of shapes, and though we began ... we never seriously recorded them! Dam!

This is a very well exposed photograph, rich in colours and with the chimney (the focal point) strongly placed against the sky.
Did you use a polarising filter?

My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Default To Royaldevon: timber church

bev

no, I was in the same level of the church, maybe not so close, I used my zoom, in the same way I used to get the next post you will see tomorrow.
-- the cross you see is only one, very usual in russia. orthodox church marks well the sign of the "INRI" up there, as a superior bar, and in the lower part they have an additional bar where the feet of Jesus should be supported. in western world we have only two crossed lines, but they have two more.

take care

jorge
