Some tourists have told me it tastes like bubble-gum, and has a very yellow colour. It was made of 'yerbaluisa', therefore its taste and colour, nowadays it is made of chemicals. Did you know that Inca Kola sells more than Coca Cola in Peru?

Yes I knew it - and understand also, because I experienced that the people in Peru were having quite a "national" and cultural pride despite their ancient colonization by the spanish. It does taste like bubble gum, but a very bad one, and it's of a weird yellowish-green. It's a drink of poor quality. But in the end, I am just speaking of that bloody drink; the month I spent in Peru was terrific! and I love the country.
