Great mkamionka 2021-09-28 1:05

Hi Paul,
I see they also have these traditional costumes in small sizes which is great in case I want to go there with my daughter.
Sadly I think the more decorative the more expensive they are. And the children are growing up so fast. I bought a traditional flamenco dress for my daughter in Madrid and she was wearing it only twice.
Charming reportage,
M

Default To mkamionka: Traditional Japanese attire

Thank you Mariusz,

As a European it is possible to make a budget trip through Japan ... unless you absolutely want to stay in luxury.
But a Japanese lady told me that traditional clothes are very expensive.

I remember meeting a Japanese family that was visiting Kyoto and I thought it was a middle class family. Several Japanese visitors to the temples wore kimonos. The lady of the couple told me that she did not have a kimono because this item of clothing was much too expensive for them.

Actually, I didn't expect that.
The cost of traditional clothing was mentioned only once during my trip. Maybe you should check with other people. But keep in mind that a kimono could throw your budget off balance.

Kind regards,
Paul
