Hello Paul, I was so close to Bitola and I haven't visited this interesting city. I would like to see everything but it is not possible, It looks like a town in Turkey. I was in the Balkans in 1968, there were people there still wearing traditional Turkish clothes and preserving the customs.
Fantastic picture. I like the view behind the water drops.

Indeed strange that you've visited Heraclea and not been in Bitola (2 km away from each other). Only a part of town looks like Turkey and I mainly mean the buildings. Other parts look very different. Actually Bitola is a modern city in North Macedonia. I think that for seeing people dressed in Turkish clothes you will have to go to certain parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina or to Kosovo ... I'm not sure ... Perhaps this may no longer be possible in 2022... Kind regards, Paul
