Great SnapRJW 2013-12-11 2:26

Hello Bev - A gorgeous shot, the red berries stand out wonderfully well against the muted colours of winter and I am reminded of a bit of county homespun weather forecasting; if the hips and haws are abundant then expect a hard winter! For me this is a nostalgic and very special shot. Wrap up warmly! Warm regards Rosemary

Default To SnapRJW: Homespun weather forecasting

Hello Rosemary,
thank you for your critique and thanks for the weather forecast. Mmmm not sure I should thank you for that as the hips are huge this year and there's plenty of them, so we may be in for a hard winter. My son & his family live in Aberdeenshire where they get 5 months of winter anyway, so better get the thermal underwear out!
Bev
