Hi Jorge
I guess that you can't be in a serious frost area if the farmers plant corn in winter so the occasional frost can cause havoc. A good informative photo and text.

from april to october my city can receive a frost anytime, but in these last decades the frosts are becoming more rare and the farmers are planting winter corn as if the frost wouldn't be exist. nature sometimes destroy the illusion. take care jorge
