Hello MArk

Avery interesting view of the peaks. So I would guess your are on the north side. This part of Arizona has mixed emotions for me. The canyon always seems to overpower everything that leads to it. Still your image shows the variance of life in a very rugged land. Nice

Default To jimmyjimmy: Framed Peaks

Hello Jimmy,

Yes, to the north and east of the San Francisco peaks.

I agree, the Grand Canyon is a major lure pulling visitors north and to it, but I'm now finding many more places to visit in the high desert. Recent trips have taken me to the North Rim (well worth the extra time to get there), White Pocket, Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Lower Antelope Canyon, Grand/Chocolate Falls, and Sunset Crater. My list keeps growing as does the list of those places I'd like to revisit - either for further exploration or to take better photographs now that I know what's there or both.

Thank you for your kind critique,
Mark
