Great Waylim 2012-07-19 16:09

Hi Erdem,

Great shot, I love it. I wish I could be there to see it in person. I had the chance to see it when it was here in Los Angeles maybe 10 or so years ago. His paintings are truly inpirational to all. I am very much interested in painting, I started photography so I can paint from my photos. I still do some here and there but not enough. If i have lots of money and I don't need to work for a living. I would be painting, at least I know that is what I like to do when I retire and travelling :)

I love the negative space here that give a sense of depth the silhouette of the people is a perfect addition to this composition.

Way

Default To Waylim: Paintings

Thank you very much for your detailed and frank critique and aspirations. It is good to know what to do during retirement.

Van Gogh is surely a wonderful artist, some of his works are among my favorites, and it is always a pleasure to watch his paintings. I wish you could see this exposition, it may come around LA one day, who knows?

With friendship,

Erdem
