Hello Dave,

I really like the foreground in your picture and I think to try a wide angle shot was a good idea. But the trees in the background seem to fall to the left and the water level does not seem horizontal-which is quite disturbing.
So I would, in this case, just crop the background and concentrate on the blooming plants in the foreground which show excellent sharpness and colour.

Thanks for the chritique. The fact is that I missed it due to the use of the macro lens, however it never bothered me because if it was included it would have made your eyes jump from up and down from the relfection to it.

how would you feel about cropping to the very base of it? its maybe a small detail, but sometimes it seems that's what turns a good shot into a great one. You have the reflection of the object itself in.
