Default To Andy (andyohare), regarding Cokin's grey filter

You have to know that I am quite a pre camera work kind of geek. And Cokin's range of filters gives one the perfect and very creative opportunity to experiment with picture alteration.
Some effects are reproducable with pro camera work, others are not. A gradual grey filter is a fine example how one can better control and save the details that can get lost due to over-exposuring.
Cokin has 2 gradual grey filters; Nr. 120 and the more light reducing Nr. 121. Just as you said Andy the effect of the 120 is still acceptable (though not too distracting) under the light circumstances at that moment.

These filters are of great help when one needs better light handling. Here I also played with the effect of rotating the filter in such way that the light/dark borderline would be placed diagonal instead of the usual horizontal angle.
