Great rigoletto 2013-08-03 6:32

mr chispa, this is a most stunning landscape and a study on fractals. there are two proofs here: first: everything is there, we just need to discover it, second: it is the eye, not the gear that speaks. but i very well understand why you fled there. i wouldn't merry ice queen however beautiful she was.

Smile To rigoletto: Fractals

Yes, Deniz -- fractals suggest that there is some unifying cosmological "thing" -- "The force that through the green fuse drives the flower," perhaps -- that we have not discovered, but can observe.

Likewise, I think I understand your comment about the eye, not the gear, speaking -- both the eye of the photographer, as this scene, with its very low light and multiple planes, would likely have left a modern camera uncertain of what to capture; and the eye of the viewer, which I hope to have provided with sufficient sharpness in the foreground, sufficient forms in the background, and sufficient cues from the colors to allow the viewer to feel (and perhaps remember) this sort of scene.

If I have missed your point, which is completely possible, please let me know!

Best regards,

Austin, Texas
