Great snunney 2019-03-17 3:02

Hello Bev,
There is an annual composition for the best flowered communes throughout France. Those who do well are allowed to display a plate with one, two or three flowers next to their name plate at the entrance to the town according to how well they are judged. Our local town of Jonzac has two flowers. I am not sure who pays, but I am pretty sure it is the commune. A well observed composition with excellent control over depth of field. Agreeable lights and colours and very good sharpness. Have a pleasant Sunday. Brightening up here after a grey damp start.

Default To snunney: Flower displays.

Thank you so much for your warm critique and for the information about the displays.
Our displays are judged by the RHS and are awarded certificates, according to the quality of the all-year round efforts, including things like litter-free streets, recycling, composting, bio-diversity .....

Have a lovely day,
Bve
