Great chc 2007-09-11 10:45

f/16 is really well chosen for this one. The composition is great too. Did you try more contrast? This doesn't mean that the present one lacks contrast. It's simply an idea.

Default To chc: More contrast

I tried some different levels of contrast, yes. I decided the scene needs to have a mellow feel, not an overly dramatic one, so I kept the contrast moderate and natural, as best I could. You can see Animesh's workshop for a high-contrast version. Thanks for the comment! Regards, Ken.

Default Re: To chc: More contrast

Animesh's workshop creates a black line in the back just before the mountains, cutting therefore the perspective. The dramatic effect for the water in the front is very interesting however. Regards, c.
