Great jassy 2006-07-21 21:01

Dear Noel,
Well, this is certainly different. A very creative use of cropping, I think. Including the nose of the plane (but not too much) gives a sense of place, but the total impression is still quite abstract. And I think you succeeded with the feeling of "looking to the sky". I'm a big fan of aircraft pictures and this is a very nice, very different, very interesting one.
Regards, Jackie
P.S. Was this taken at an air museum?

Taken at the Villeneuve Alberta Airfield, 3 remaining of 6 original Israeli C-47 Dakotas for sale to the next lucky purchaser with the quarter million dollars to spare. See my other Dakota photos at

Ah, I suspected it might be a DC-3 from the bit of nose, but wasn't sure. Your other photos are quite nice -- I like your unusual perspective views. Thanks.
