Now reading everyone, I have more or less the same conclusion as Jose, you should buy a point and shoot. Only switch on/off button and click button.

That is it. No complications for you.
Bolinha, please use a point and shoot.

K.

imo remote shutter is a must when taking pictures with bulb option

you don't want to put your finger more then 30 seconds on the shutter, you will get shaky images. alternative you use self timer, which often unpractical (especially for fireworks shooting)

good reading :

No I was not aware of this thanks for pointing that out, in the worst case seems I'll have to upgrade the firmware.
Obrigado Mario
P.S. What did you do to Kike ?

All you need is a cable release, They are very inexpensive and any good photo retailer should be able to order you 1, It has a sliding locking button, so you don't even have to stand there while your waiting. With that you can do star trails if you want for upto 3 or 4 hours (depending on battery power.)

I don't want to cut the grass under your feet (hope it's also an expression in english, but I guess you get the meaning!), here is the web page for the firmware.
