Default Why there is no "Canadian" portrait on TE??

I like portrait a lot, specially children portrait (like those of Simon). But when I look in other gallery than Asia...nothing. Maybe a few europeen but almost nothing in North America.

Is Asia the only place allowed to post portraits or pictures of children on TE? Is there a secret rule who say that North american face are not in TE spirit?

I just want to see people face from all around the world, not only in Asia (even if I really like those Asia picture).

Thanks and sorry for my bad english :-)

Translation of jegauth's note above (the translate button won't accept me)

In this case we shouldn’t hesitate to write in French
Hi Jerome.
We see many portraits from Asia but fewer from Europe and America.
Our way of life and customs are different. In India people live on the streets and they are more accepting of being photographed. As for us, country people are less easy going and I don’t really think that most of them would be willing to be photographed

I agree with jegauth's point above.
A man hanging about a childrens' playground with a camera is likely to be arrested. People have become so sensitive about paedophilia that talking to or photographing other peoples' children is no longer acceptable.
