Hi Luko,

I didn't get the idea of giving more blue for the gloomy feeling. You meant to add more blue before you convert it to B&W?

Hi Thien,

thanks for your interest.

Just a word about the color balance : the shot is a scan from a BW neg, which i converted to RGB in PShop.
There are all sorts of greys, I wanted here a cold toned grey : I then shifted the cursor towards blue Image/color balance.

That means i'm adding more Blue meanwhile the image is "apparently" BW but actually RGB. In fact NEVER use BW mode, always keep RGB, if you still want to tone your image later.

je tiends a signaler qu une image desaturee, qui reste en RVB, on ne pourra pas mettre du bleu ou du rouge ou autre couleur sa n a aucun effet..
pour remettre il faut un calque.

Mmmh...ré-essayez et vous verrez...

C'est ce que j'emploie toujours pour simuler des virages au sélénium, à l'or, à la thiourée ou au bleu, même en split toning.

Contrairement à ce que vous dites il y a un effet qui est assez efficace pour simuler les opérations de virage du labo argentique, cela marche très bien.
