Great BCameron5 2016-11-22 2:29

Hi John, Love the photo. Love the bridge. I can't say it was that sunny when I was there 2 weeks ago. This bridge holds special significance for me as I was visiting Scotland (Ardnamurchan) for the first time to touch the earth of my ancestors' grounds. And this bridge was built by my Great x 4 Grandfather Donald Cameron before he hopped on a ship in 1837 to try his luck in the colonies of New South Wales. Thank god he made that journey. thanks for sharing the photo and the wonderful story ... Brett Cameron

Default To BCameron5: It is just amazing!

Hi Brett and welcome on TrekEarth,

I think it is just amazing when the photos on TE can be found by people having an history with it...
Once a young girl wrote that I posted a photo of the window of her sleeping room in the house she grew up!

And now we have the photographer, John, and Lisa and you telling us about that lovely bridge and its history!

Thank you & friendly greetings,
