Great ChrisJ 2015-02-12 16:43

Hello Marian,

I am thinking about leaving Moldova and heading back into Romania soon. Is Constanta worth seeing in winter? I'm also thinking about Tulcea and Sulina, (Danube Delta) but I only have 6 days left on my 90 days visa and want 2-3 days in Bucharest an 1 day for Sinaia. A lovely sunset shot with splendid reflections and good sharpness. Tfs!

Default To ChrisJ: traveling to romania

Listen, Chris Constanta is a no in winter time. Just boring and nothing to see here. My advice is to go to Sinaia and spend there a few more days. There are small towns next to Sinaia like Predeal and Busteni and definitely u have to go to Brasov, to see the old town. You'll love it. About the Danube Delta, i don't know...it's pretty cold out here and you'll be forced to stay inside most of the time. The Danube Delta is wonderful but in spring or fall. My advice? Sinaia and surroundings 2 days, Bucharest 2 days and u could try the Transfagrasan road. They say it's closed on winter but it's closed only in the last 10 km. Thanks for the visit!
