Great tyro 2014-02-20 1:04

Hi Craig,

Two very impressive photographs of this "building without edges", both with strong perrsepctives as a result of your lovely wide "city" lens - and an interesting note too.

I like the inclusion of the people in the foreground in this one - but what's that shadow on the ground? Is the photographer wearing a big feather in his hat? :o)

This building is superbly depicted against a lovely deep blue sky with spot-on exposure, lovely light and contrasts and your usual exquisite details and sharpness.

Kind Regards,

P.S. Incidentally, I think that there might at the moment be some problem with adding links to maps here but, if you put these co-ordinates into Google Earth, you can see this place as Malgo describes:

52.240766, 21.016240

Default To tyro: map

Hi John
thanks for the co-ordinates
I tried to find it myself on Google maps but came out blank
I'll add it in today!

as for the shadow on the ground....I must have been too sleepy when I posted the photo. Normally I would have cloned it out but it totally slipped my mind!

thanks as always John
see you around
